I love being in love and I love having someone who makes me smile everyday. But when he isn't around, and when I'm feeling a little under the weather, well, I stay up late and watch reruns of Will & Grace to cheer myself up. My favorite character from the show is Karen. She can't be any more awesome.

And so, I miss my darling boyfriend. That panda peeking behind me was a gift from him. No reason at all he just up and bought me a panda pillow. le sigh.

tired and lazy but more of tired

Oh! hello there! I've been so preoccupied this past week that I nearly forgot about this blog, and by preoccupied I mean hanging out with my boyfriend, sewing, and doing a lot of thinking, planning and drafting for my up coming business. I can't wait to be my own boss. Weeeee!!

Garden Sale Day 1

My cousin, Celyn has been organizing garden sales lately and I've only managed to show up to this one. I didn't want to spend much since I bought a whole lot of arty supplies before checking out the sale and was only left with 200 pesos. haha.

But i made sure that I left the place with something..this really pretty elephant necklace! :)

I kept eyeing these bangles!! They cost around 800 pesos so i'm definitely going back for that tomorrow

Oh god. I left the house without makeup but photos need to be posted. This is the other bea, the one who never seems to run out of energy. You'll find her jumping around and chit chatting with just about anybody.

Craving Shmaving

What a terrible time to be craving for Xiao Long Bao. Everyone was tweeting about making a wish on 11/11/11 at 11:11, and guess what I wished for? I already knew it wouldn't happen of course, but it was for xiao long bao to fall directly on to my lap, straight from the heavens.

I can't stop thinking about it. I had to research my way through Google typing down "good xiaolongbao in cebu" apparently, people only know of one restaurant with XLB and it isn't even that good. Somebody please work on a teleportation device so I can "press button to teleport" my way to China and some yummy yummy XLB. To be clear, I've been thinking about XLB since 11 pm last night, and it is now 2:03 am. I HAD to improvise. What I ate was nothing like the food I was craving for but it shut my mind up (at least for now).

That's what i ended up with. Nutella and Jam filled Marshmallows. I a'int complaining though.

Hair Envy (hairspiration?)

I've been creeping on a bunch of random photos on the interweb-nets and just can't help but fall in love with the styles and shades and length of all the awesomeness that is HAIR. So this post is basically my hairstyle bucket list. I've already crossed out pink hair and maybe blonde pixie cut will soon follow...we shall seeee.

And I mentioned this in my previous post, but I'm dying to have this blonde pixie cut.
I can tell that it's going to be one of those
"It seemed like a good idea at the time" kind of things.

PLUM hair. OH how I adore this color!! I don't quite remember how I cam across this photo but the back of this gorgeous head belongs to Sarah Gaugler (singer, model, tattoo artist) a local Philippine celebrity of sorts. I'm hoping I can get tattooed by her sometime soon.

A Special Kind of Vain

I have been obsessing about my hair for the past week now and ever since the appearance of my roots, I've suspected that I've been grinding my teeth a lot more in my sleep. Yes, little things like that annoy me. Sooooo, I decided, instead of shelling out big bucks at a salon, to bleach my roots myself. It wasn't a totally bad decision, except that the rest of my hair is a lot more orange compared to my freshly bleached black roots. This could be because of the different brand of bleach that I used? Yeah. That could be it. Oh! And I'm not looking forward to what the people are going to say at the office tomorrow, coz they usually ask for explanations as to why you'd style your hair a certain way and what not. And frankly I'm just tired of saying "Because I felt like it." So tomorrow I will use the "My Religion demands it" reason.

This blog is starting to seem like a hair blog. uuuuh. Check it out. My pores are huuuuge. Sorry about that, and the unkept eyebrows. hihihi

I'm thinking of keeping the blonde for awhile before i dye my hair Pink again. I'm actually thinking of Agyness Deyn when I stay bleached blonde. But I don't think I can really pull her look off. wah. And also, the gentleman says that I look like a confused Asian. :-/

October at a Glance

So before I fall asleep, thought i'd share a few photos I took last month. I haven't been going out with my camera lately and have just failed to take more than my usual bajillion photos. There's been alot of snacking from what I can tell in this collage.

The first photo is a red velvet cupcake on my good friend, Rias' birthday. The last photo is me with a vanilla ice cream cupcake. goodbye diet. hello holiday weight.

Can't Stop Bitching

Ramble, Ramble, Ramble

I have to say, all hallows eve was extreeemely tiring for me. That day was my last chance to spend some time with my mother before she left the city, and we went around buying beads and spent the rest of the morning running last minute errands....and stuff. I also got myself a crappy shawarma lunch which tasted awful so, it found its way into the trash. Anywaaay, we blazed on through to Carbon Market, which I find to be a pretty awesome place despite it being soo hot and a little crowded at times. You can find almost anything there.


Walked around for about an hour and here's what I found that afternoon...

I still can't figure out the model of this particular Singer machine. It says 277U above the "S" marking, however, I can't find anything about a 277U on the interwebs. Getting a headache from all my research and quite frankly a little grumpy from not getting any results.

Here's another photo. I would really like to get it repainted soon. Ideas will be a-popping sometime in the near future.


Later that night, my boyfriend and I got to work on our Halloween Costumes. I had the best time getting ready and a JUST OKAY time being photographed by random strangers because I was just so tired from looking for a sewing machine that day that we didn't spend alot of time out and about. Soon as I got home I went straight to bed. After cleaning up of course.

Blogging.

This here is another one of my attempts at blogging.
Yes, I've had blogs before but I've never had the patience to update the darn things. Now that I've grown older and possibly wiser (?), I figured (censored) blogging would be a great way to keep track of my life..I say censored because I have been in trouble for a certain blog entry I've posted years ago (but that's another story) and, while i'm at it, i'll post pictures and links of what i might find amusing as well.


So, today, I posted a status update on Facebook rambling about my distaste for the early Christmas cheer that has been going around lately. I don't think i mentioned the fact that Christmas is now so overly commercialized that I can't wait for the season to end, and for it to begin as early as October with Halloween just around the corner, which might I add is my most favorite time of the year, is making me feel a little squeamish. But just to set things straight, here is a photo of myself from Christmas dinner '09 to prove that I am not a complete Grinch.

It's just really warm and cozy under there and I couldn't think of anything else cause honestly, this Pad Thai that i'm having right now is so amazing that I can't even remember where I live, and that's happened before (the forgetting where I live part) but that too is a different blog entry. If I ever choose to write about it.
